Joe Bray
In his current role as President of the Board of Directors of Hope Services, Joe brings a wealth of administrative experience in program development, policy writing, and strategic planning. A retired educator and pastor, he most recently served as the founding Headmaster of The Paideia School, a K-12 Classical Christian academy in Tampa. He had previously served in leadership in several schools and churches in Illinois, Kentucky, and Florida.
Joe is an alum of Lincoln Christian University (B.A. in Christian Education), Lincoln Christian Seminary (M.A. in Theology and Philosophy), and Lexington Theological Seminary (M.Div. in Theology).
Joe has enjoyed over fifty years of marriage with his high school sweetheart, Cindy. They have two adult children and five grandchildren.

James “Bo” Bowman
Bo has been engaged in pastoral ministry in the Tampa area since 2007 and currently serves as the senior pastor of Riverside Baptist Church in New Port Richey. In addition to his role at Riverside, he also serves on the board of the West Pasco Pregnancy Center. Previously he worked as the chaplain for the Pasco Detention Center where he gained valuable experience in the areas of recidivism and addiction.
An alum of Bob Jones University and Seminary, Bo has earned both a BA (Biblical Studies) and an MA (Pastoral Studies).
Bo and his wife, Lacy, have been happily married for 24 years and are the proud parents of four children.

Dan Mitchell
Dan is the Program Director for SMARTstart, an organization administered by the Pasco Economic Development Council and designed to help entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses in Pasco County.
In addition to being a Director for Hope Services, Dan also serves in the following offices: Advisory Board for UF/IFAS Family & Consumer Sciences, Industry Council for St. Leo University, Impact Board for SYNAPSE FL, and Florida High Tech Corridor Research Grant Review Team. His nomination to the Pasco County Food Policy Advisory Committee by the Board of County Commissioners is pending. His past service has included the Board of Directors of The Paideia School of Tampa Bay, the Advisory Council for Marchman Technical School, the Advisory Board for Right Plan Financial, and the SBCD Emergency Bridge Loan Committee.
Dan, his wife Dacia, and their six children currently attend Spark, a church plant in East Pasco. Their family motto is: With God and my family as my team, there is no circumstance we cannot overcome.

Scott Paton
Dr. Scott Paton is a distinguished chiropractor and certified athletic trainer with a master’s degree in sports medicine and injury management. He has bee. happily married to his wife Janice for the past 27 years, he has three children, two of which are at the University of Central Florida and one that will be starting Florida Atlantic University in 2025. A pioneer in his field, Dr. Paton made history as the first chiropractor to speak at the Olympics, presenting in Athens, Greece in 2004. His international influence continued with invited lectures at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium in 2010 and FIFA Headquarters in Zürich, Switzerland in 2014, reflecting his global reputation for expertise in sports medicine and integrative care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Paton has served in leadership positions on several boards, including as Vice Chairman for a multimillion-dollar nonprofit and as a key member of his local HOA. He is also developer of “Vitamin Fingerprint,” an innovative concept focused on personalized micronutrient optimization. A passionate golfer, licensed pilot and advocate for whole-body wellness, Dr. Paton blends scientific rigor with practical strategies to elevate human performance in all arenas.

Ann Chavez is a Business & Marketing Strategist and Growth Advisor with 40+ years of experience driving growth across Fortune 100 companies, startups, and small to mid-sized enterprises (SMEs). She has led brand and market share growth for industry giants—including Procter & Gamble, Disney, and Gerber—and advised ventures in Silicon Valley, Napa Valley, and healthcare tech. Her global expertise spans consumer products, entertainment, healthcare, non-profits, senior care, technology, and beyond. Deeply committed to social impact, Ann volunteers in churches and has served in ministries supporting youth, the homeless, seniors, and veterans. Her work is grounded in her love for Christ and her family.
